Registration

Do I need to register before I visit?
Yes. Visitor registration is free and can be completed online before the event. Registering in advance speeds up entry and ensures you receive the latest event updates.

Is there a charge to attend?
No. Entry to Vertikal Days is completely free for all visitors.

Can I register on the day?
Yes, but we recommend registering before you arrive to avoid queues at the entrance. Register in advance

Do I need to print my badge?
Printing your badge before you arrive will help you access the event more quickly. If you are unable to print it in advance, it can be printed when you arrive.
Complimentary badge holders and lanyards, sponsored by Point of Rental, will be available to collect at the entrance.

Can I attend both days?
Yes. Your visitor badge is valid for both Wednesday and Thursday, so please keep it safe and bring it with you if you plan to return on the second day. Your badge also allows re-entry throughout the event.

Can I bring colleagues?
Absolutely. Bring your colleagues, customers and contacts. Each visitor simply needs to register individually before entering.

Can you provide visa letters?
International visitors and exhibitors attending Vertikal Days can request a visa invitation letter to support their travel arrangements. Submit your information here

Getting Here

Where is Vertikal Days held?
Vertikal Days takes place at Newark Showground, Lincoln Road, Winthorpe, Newark, NG24 2NY, Nottinghamshire. What3Words: ///turntable.since.eclipses

Is parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available throughout the event.

Are electric vehicle charging points available?
Unfortunately, EV charging is not available on site. We recommend charging before travelling.

Is there public transport to Newark Showground?
Yes. Newark is well served by rail, with regular services to Newark North Gate and Newark Castle stations. From there, visitors can travel to the showground by taxi. For full travel information and directions, please visit our Getting There page.

Can I get a taxi from Newark railway stations?
Yes. Taxis are available from both Newark North Gate and Newark Castle railway stations. Journey times to Newark Showground are approximately 10 to 15 minutes. You can find more travel information, including local taxi details, on our Getting There page.

Planning Your Visit

Can I see who is exhibiting before I arrive?
Yes. The full exhibitor list is available on the Vertikal Days website and is updated regularly in the lead up to the event.

Can I download a site map before I arrive?
Yes. A digital site map will be available on the website closer to the event.

How long should I allow for my visit?
Most visitors spend between half a day and a full day at the event, depending on how many exhibitors and demonstrations they wish to see.

Can I arrange meetings with exhibitors?
Yes. Many exhibitors are happy to arrange appointments before the event. Please contact them directly to organise a suitable time.

Are there hotels nearby?
Yes. There are a range of hotels and accommodation options within easy reach of Newark Showground. Please visit our Accommodation page for recommended places to stay.

During Your Visit

What are the opening times?
Wednesday 9 September 2026: 10:00am to 5:30pm
Thursday 10 September 2026: 10:00am to 4:00pm

What can I expect to see?
Over 150 exhibitors and more than 300 brands showcasing the latest lifting equipment, access platforms, cranes, telehandlers, components, services and technology. Live equipment demonstrations take place throughout the event.

Will machinery be operating?
Yes. Live machinery demonstrations take place throughout both days. Please follow all safety signage and instructions from event staff when viewing demonstrations.

Will exhibitors be selling equipment?
Vertikal Days is primarily a demonstration and networking event. Exhibitors will be showcasing their latest products and discussing sales, rentals and services with visitors.

Is food available?
Yes. Complimentary refreshments are available throughout both days, with a free hot lunch served to all registered visitors between 12:00pm and 2:30pm.

Is there somewhere to sit?
Yes. There are cafés and seating areas are located across the event, giving you plenty of opportunities to take a break or meet with colleagues.

Is WiFi available?
No. There is no on site WiFi on site.

Will there be a show guide?
Yes. Every visitor will receive a complimentary Vertikal Days Show Guide, included with the September issue of Cranes & Access magazine. The guide features:

• A complete A to Z listing of exhibitors and brands
• Product categories to help plan your visit
• Outdoor and Marketplace site maps
• Equipment highlights and new product launches
• Event information and association meeting details

Accessibility

Is the event accessible?
Yes. The event is held on largely level ground with accessible toilet facilities available. Please note that the surfaces are uneven and please take care as you move across the site.

Can I bring a mobility scooter or wheelchair?
Yes. Visitors are welcome to use their own mobility aids.

General Information

What should I wear?
Vertikal Days is an outdoor event, so we recommend comfortable footwear and clothing suitable for the weather. Some areas of the site are grass or hardstanding.

Can children attend?
Vertikal Days is a business event aimed at professionals working within the lifting equipment and work at height industries. Children are able to attend, they must remain with an adult at all times.

Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are permitted, they must remain on a lead at all times.

Is photography allowed?
Yes. Photography and filming take place throughout the event. By attending, you may appear in promotional photography or video.

Where are the first aid facilities located?
We have Fire and Rescue specialists on site. As well as qualified first aiders throughout the event. If you require medical assistance, please speak to the nearest member of staff or visit the Organisers Office, who will direct you to the first aid team.

What happens if I lose something?
Please visit the Organisers Office where lost property is handed in throughout the event.
